Driver/kernel will report tons of RTM_NEWLINK event even driver scan done if kernel configured with CONFIG_CFG80211_WEXT, which will make userspace threads busy processing the RTM_NEWLINK event. Userspace threads will get strange state if cannot handle so much RTM_NEWLINK event. 2. Kernel Kconfig has post comments for CONFIG_CFG80211_WEXT: help Enable this option if you need old userspace for wireless extensions with cfg80211-based drivers. Android userspace app support the new CFG80211 API like wpa_supplicant/hostapd, not need CONFIG_CFG80211_WEXT anymore. [Solution] 1. Remove CONFIG_CFG80211_WEXT in kernel config.
