* USB: serial: mos7840: fix another NULL-deref at openJohan Hovold2017-06-171-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | commit 5182c2cf2a9bfb7f066ef0bdd2bb6330b94dd74e upstream. Fix another NULL-pointer dereference at open should a malicious device lack an interrupt-in endpoint. Note that the driver has a broken check for an interrupt-in endpoint which means that an interrupt URB has never even been submitted. Fix NULL-pointer dereference in open() should the device lack the expected endpoints: Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000030 ... PC is at mos7840_open+0x88/0x8dc [mos7840] Note that we continue to treat the interrupt-in endpoint as optional for now. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | commit 3b7c7e52efda0d4640060de747768360ba70a7c0 upstream. There is an allocation with GFP_KERNEL flag in mos7840_write(), while it may be called from interrupt context. Follow-up for commit 191252837626 ("USB: kobil_sct: fix non-atomic allocation in write path") Found by Linux Driver Verification project (linuxtesting.org).
